Opticonx SPK series splitter kits are designed to modify loose tube and ribbon fiber cables for direct field termination of industry standard connectors.  Three different kits are available for multi-tube, unitube, and ribbon style cables.

SPK series splitter kits route 250 micron fibers into individual 900 micron color coded buffer tubes via a compact protective housing.  The fiber can then be directly terminated without costly pigtail splicing.  The kits are designed to work with any manufacturer's cable and industry standard connectors.

SPKL kits are designed for standard loose tube cable configurations, and should be ordered according to the number of fiber inside the tube (4 to 16 fibers).  If cable construction has more than one tube containing fiber, one kit should be ordered for each tube.

SPKU kits are designed for Unitube cable construction, and are available for fiber counts from 4 to 36.  This kit also works great for ribbon fiber!

SPKR kits are designed for use with ribbon fiber, either bare or jacketed.  These kits work best with ribbon fiber counts from 4 to 12.
